Animals bring happiness to people in life and an area nonprofit has given animals a chance to have a home and be cared for until the time comes for them to go to their forever home. Sheba’s Haven, a dog rescue in nearby Inverary Ontario, rescues dogs with life limiting non-curative illnesses and gives them a place to be free and keep healthy in a secured three acre property. Sheba’s have has always appreciated the way they have been treated by the people in Gananoque which has become the location for the rescue’s annual Bark Bash which raises money for local rescues. Bill McCormick is the man who keeps the ship going at Sheba’s Haven, he says he is proud of one thing, giving dogs with life limiting illnesses, a chance to roam free and be themselves.
