Several Beer Store locations across the province will be returning to regular collection of empties. Everyone is encouraged to bring their empties back to the locations that are offering this service but Beer Store staff encourage everyone to take a few precautionary steps due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Rinse and organize your empties at home, use a cart provided at each location, these carts are sanitized and cleaned after each use. You’re also asked to sort your own containers in black bins which are provided at all locations, wait in the designated empty return line and you can have your deposit returned to you or you can donate to your local food bank or hospital. Locally the Gananoque location is still not accepting empties but locations in Kingston at 1090 Midland Avenue and 500 Princess Street will be taking empty containers.
