
With the announcement from the province about stage one reopening on Friday June 11th, Parks of the St. Lawrence is reopening sites at all campgrounds, beaches and day use parks. Several parks including Ivy Lea Campground will be open to campers and washrooms, shower and laundry facilities will be available for use. All beaches will be open including Brown’s Bay on the Thousand Islands Parkway will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 9pm with restrictions to one picnic table per group. Below is a list of open campgrounds, beaches and facilities plus a list of available services.
Planned Reopening Timeline
As of June 11th the following will be open:
o All campgrounds will be open to transient campers:
o McLaren Campground
o Riverside Cedar Campground
o Glengarry Park Campground
o Farran Park Campground
o Woodlands Campground
o Mille Roches Campground
o Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary/ Nairne/ Morrison Island
o Riverside-Cedar Campground
o Brown’s Bay Campground
o Ivy Lea Campground
o Crysler Park Marina Camping Area
o All beaches will be open on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 9am-9pm
with restrictions on picnic tables (one picnic table per group and 6 feet apart).
o Glengarry Beach
o Mille Roches Beach
o Woodlands Beach
o Farran Park Beach
o Crysler Beach
o Brown’s Bay Beach
o As of June 28th, all beaches will be open 7 days a week.
