COVID-19 safety measures may be lifting across the province but healthcare settings like Brockville General Hospital will be sticking with all provincial protocols. In a media release to myFM, BGH officials say their health and safety protocols will remain in place for the time being. President and CEO Nick Vlacholias says hospitals are high risk settings and require a higher standard of infection prevention and control practices. All staff will continue to follow protocols including being fully vaccinated, actively screen for illness, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment including masks.
