Ontario is lifting its mask mandates in most public spaces today, including in schools.
The long awaited move comes a few weeks after the province lifted proof-of-vaccination rules and capacity limits.
But there are still a few places where mask mandates remain in place — including public transit, health-care facilities, long-term care homes and congregate care settings.
The province plans to end to all remaining COVID public health rules by the end of April.
