A new taxi company is now servicing Gananoque and the Thousand Islands. A-1 Taxi is the new service in town. myFM spoke with company manager Rick Hovey, says everything is relatively new and they are slowing putting a team together.

Hovey says his drivers will take you where you need to go, whether it be Toronto or Ottawa. But the main focus is local service.

Many have inquired about guidelines and mask wearing in the cab. Hovey says, the decision to wear a mask in the car is up to you
