Ahead of Amazon Prime Day this year, local police are warning the community to keep an eye out for Prime scams.
Cybercriminals may take advantage of this day by sending an email that looks like it has come from Amazon, but if you enter your Amazon login credentials on a fake pages, the cybercriminals then have access to your credentials.
To keep your account secure, Kingston police recommend that if you receive an email that urges you to take immediate action, stop and evaluate the message before you click any links. They aslo suggest you Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on your Amazon account
