The Ontario Provincial Police describe 2022 on the roadways they patrol in the province as deadly.

27 of the deaths were off-road crashes, 29 were marine related and 14 were snowmobile collisions.
Schmidt urges all of us to make a difference to keep our roads safe.
He says wear a seat belt, drive sober, don’t be distracted, don’t speed, and stay safe in the winter.
