Natural gas prices have dropped in Ontario. Enbridge says that as of April 1st, they dropped by more than $160, or as much as $190 depending where you are in the province.
Enbridge Ombuds-person Tanya Bruckmueller tells us the war in Ukraine has played a factor in the fat gas bills natural gas users saw over the winter. But that’s not the only factor.
Bruckmueller says there have been many factors driving their rates through the roof.
Many Enbridge users who are not on equal billing saw bills pretty much double over the winter.
Even if you’re among those saving the most, rates are still nowhere near where they were before the winter of 2022-23.
