More contraband has been stopped from entering Joyceville Institution.
Thanks to the vigilance of staff, several packages containing contraband and unauthorized items were seized on April 20th.
The seized items included 1.05 kilograms of tobacco, 224 grams of marijuana, as well as cell phones and accessories.
The Correctional Service of Canada continues to use measures in place to prevent drugs and contraband from entering its institutions in order to help ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone.
