Formal dresses, suits, shoes and jewelry. You wouldn’t normally think of the Gananoque Humane Society when you hear those words but you will on June 10th and 11th when they hold a special Bridal and Formal Wear Fundraiser at Thousand Islands Thrift. Kelly Croft from the Human Society, talks about how this idea came about.
Between the thrift store and a donation from Sheba’s Haven Rescue in Kingston, the fundraiser took shape.
Donations are being accepted and here’s how you can do that.
Lots will be taking place during the fundraiser.
Doors open at 10am on June 10th and if you can’t make it, the doors will be open to check out items at 1pm on June 11th. All proceeds go to support the Humane Society in Gananoque.
