“The Mayor and Council of Gananoque are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Melanie Kirkby as CAO of the Corporation of the Town of Gananoque.
Ms. Kirkby has held the office of Treasurer of Gananoque for the last nine years. During that time, her pursuit of excellence in her role and leadership
skills have produced exemplary results for the Town. ” Said Mayor John Beddows
Kirkby was previously serving as the Town Treasurer. Kirkby began her new role with the Town on Valentine’s Day.
“I am thrilled to be taking on this new role with the Town. During this transition, continuity of service delivery to the residents and business owners of Gananoque is a priority for Town Council & staff. I am honored to be the new leader of the many dedicated, hardworking, and talented people who together are ‘Team Gananoque’.” Said Mrs. Kirkby.
“My Goal is to ensure that we continue to deliver on Council priorities and that Gananoque remains a wonderful place to work, live, and play.”
