COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Key dates in the next UCDSB school year

The 2024-25 UCDSB school calendar’s been approved.

The board gave it the green light at their monthly meeting.

Superintendent of Schools Bill Loshaw says work towards next year’s calendar began in November, and they work in collaboration with the CDSBEO for practical reasons.

The first day of school for students will be September 4th and the final day June 26th, 2025. Bill Loshaw provided a brief rundown.

Winter holidays run December 22nd until the 3rd and March break is the 8th through the 14th. Both stretches are decided by the Ministry of Education.
