Over $51,000 of contraband and other unauthorized items were seized at Joyceville Institution last weekend.
Officers with Correctional Services Canada seized a package containing tobacco, marijuana, hashish, cannabis concentrate, cutting weapons, as well as cell phones and accessories.
The institution continues to heighten security measures to protect staff, inmates and visitors.
