If you are looking to use the Howe Island Ferry this morning, there will be a slight delay.
Ferry crews report that the vessel has been docked on the Mainland due to mechanical issues with the drive unit.
MTO crews have arrived on site and are assessing the situation.
Ferry is estimated to be back in operation by late this afternoon according to MTO and the Ferry crews.
The Township has staffed the little Ferry for the time being and are up and running.
