After 10 days, over 1700 kilometers and two 130 foot tractor trailers, the two specially designed building units for the new Brockville General Hospital MRI officially arrived on March 23rd.
Both buildings, weighing around 110,000 pounds each, were brought in by crane throughout the day.
With both units now on site the process of connecting electricity and plumbing to the hospital is now underway.
Next delivery will be the MRI scanner in April.
The MRI is expected to be in full operation by this spring.
