Ahead of the upcoming Solar Eclipse on April 8th, many people will be traveling from other regions to get a good view of this event. Many will be booking hotel rooms in Gananoque, which are going fast. Recently Colin Brown, from Brown Hospitality, says if you know anyone looking for a room for the weekend, they are going quick.
Brown says with more people coming to town for this event, he says they are prepared with their core group of staff.
Despite the influx of visitors to the Town of Gananoque, it will not change what is done on a daily basis at their locations.
He adds that with more people visiting and booking rooms, capacity limits have nearly been reached. He says they also plan to have staff on call for the day of the Eclipse.
