
Several area residents, members of the Leeds 1000 Islands Fire Service and local dignitaries were on hand for the ground breaking ceremony for the new Fire Station 2 location in Seeley’s Bay. MPP for Leeds Grenville Rideau Lakes and Thousand Islands Steve Clark gave his thoughts on the location.

The new station will feature 6 bays, a training room, onsite water storage and capacity for 32 fire fighters. The station is located at 3300 Highway 32 in Seeley’s Bay. Doors are set to open in December of 2024.
