After a violent attack on a female on April 25th at 1:30am, a 33 year old male if facing serious charges.
Brockville Police say the accused and the victim began a verbal dispute which led to the female being punched in the face along with having a beverage poured on her.
She was then struck by the male with a crowbar and a knife causing a cut.
The female did make it to safety but the accused continued to smash windows with the crowbar and the interior dash, which led to the vehicle needing to be towed.
Officers were able to arrest the accused without incident or injuries.
Investigations revealed quantities of several drugs including cocaine, crystal meth and fentanyl.
Officers also found scales, bags and three cell phones.
The accused was charged with many offences including four counts of assault with a weapon, Three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, assault, mischief over $5000, uttering threats and resisting arrest.
The female received non-life threatening injuries.
