Kingston Police discovered cell phones, car keys a Canadian Passport, Health Card and Drivers License, that did not belong to a person in question and now a 28 year old from Brockville faces charges.
Kingston Police were on patrol on April 26th and questioned the individual about the items. It was confirmed they were stolen earlier in the day leaving the family stranded.
The accused from Brockville was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property and four counts of breach probation.
The accused, at the time of this offence, was on three separate probation orders out of Brockville, Ontario for trafficking stolen property, two counts of break and enter, theft under $5000 and three counts of failing to comply with court ordered conditions.
He was held at police headquarters pending a bail hearing.
