Helping our local school get the nutrition they need is what the Gananoque Food Bank is helping with. With funding from the United Way, the new Weekend Bundle Program is in full swing. Chair of the Gan Food Bank Shannon Griggs tells us more.

Audio PlayerA total of 53 bundles were made last week, with an anticipated 100 plus bundles expected to be put together for the program this week.
Donations are accepted for the program and are to be ear marked “Weekend Bundles”.
Linklater, St. Joseph’s, GISS and Thousand Islands Elementary are the schools involved in the program.
