A historical time for the United Way of Leeds and Grenville is coming back. A day of caring will take place on June 21st, where local businesses volunteer man hours and lend a hand with a project at a local non profit. Projects can vary from a room that needs to be painted or a simple clean up job around a property of the non profit. Executive Director with the United Way of Leeds and Grenville Hailie Jack, is looking forward to seeing this come back.
Audio PlayerIn the past Jack says this day has brought communities, old friends and local businesses together to help a local non profit with a project that has been on their list to get done, but nobody was available. Hailie says this is all about bringing people together to help each other.
Audio PlayerBusinesses or organizations are more than willing to sign up for the June 21st Day of Caring and it is very easy to sign up. Hailie tells us how you can go about doing that.
