The new and improved Ivy Lea Wharf officially opened to the public yesterday on a warm afternoon.
Local dignitaries and representatives from Kehoe Marine Construction and Greer Galloway Consulting Engineers were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony, officially opening the Wharf.
The Wharf was under restricted access and in need of repairs, which involved replacement of the old wharf and floating dock.
The boat ramp was also reconstructed from its former 90 degree turn, to straight in access.
The township invested $2.1 million dollars for the project.
