Thanks to a naming rights sponsorship Centre 70 in Kingston will have a new look and a new name.
The new UFIT Rink will be the name of the arena for the next five years following approval from City Council on February 6th.
“We are grateful and fortunate to have local businesses like UFIT Kingston who are dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of the community,” said Amy Elgersma, Director, Recreation and Leisure Services. “The funding from naming rights sponsorships is an important part of supporting the City’s efforts to provide affordable recreation opportunities.”
UFIT specializes in fitness classes, sports performance training, clinical kinesiology and fascial stretch therapy services.
“We are thrilled to partner with the City of Kingston on this opportunity. At UFIT, we believe in the power of fitness and recreation to bring people together, and we’re excited to support this fantastic facility that offers so much to local residents,” says Sara Maveety, Co-Owner & Operations Manager at UFIT Kingston. “This partnership reflects our commitment to fostering a healthy, active lifestyle and giving back to the community that has supported us over the years. We look forward to seeing the UFIT Rink’s positive impact on local sports and recreational activities.”
