
The Town of Gananoque is hosting its annual Residential Clean-Up ‘Dump Days’ on Saturday, August 24th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Public Works Yard, 665 Charles Street (access via James A. Brennan Road). This event allows residents to dispose of large items not collected curbside, with proof of residency required.
Accepted items include box springs, mattresses, furniture, appliances, and electronic waste, with fees ranging from $10 to $100 based on vehicle size. Free disposal is available for metal appliances, electronic waste, and clean white bulk styrofoam.
Items such as household garbage, construction debris, tires, and hazardous waste will not be accepted. Residents must transport their items to the site and place them in designated bins. For more details, contact pwinfo@gananoque.ca or call 613-382-2149 Ext 1613
