Just before midnight on September 24th, Kingston Police responded to a violent home invasion on Frontenac Street near Brock Street.
An unknown male suspect broke into the residence of an elderly couple, assaulted the victims, and fled the scene on foot.
The attack left both victims with serious injuries, prompting immediate medical assistance from paramedics, who transported them to Kingston General Hospital for treatment.
At this early stage of the investigation, police have a limited description of the suspect, noting only that he is male.
Kingston Police are actively working to gather more information and have urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant details to come forward.
