The Gananoque Municipal Marina is reminding all boat owners that they must remove their boats no later than Thursday, October 31st as the marina prepares for major renovations. Extensive work will begin on the main dock immediately following the deadline, making it inaccessible during the construction period.
The town is excited to begin the much-needed dock replacement project but has emphasized that no extensions or exceptions will be made. All boats, including those docked in slips that do not require main dock access, must be removed by the deadline.
Additionally, the Gananoque Marina’s small boat launch will also close for the season on October 31. However, boaters can still use the Lion’s Club Launch, which will remain open.
For more details on the project and updates regarding the marina’s reopening, residents are encouraged to check the town’s website or contact the marina office directly.
