Tyler Doskotch, a federal offender who went unlawfully at large on November 20th, has been apprehended in Prescott, Ontario. The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad located and arrested Doskotch after a brief search.
Doskotch, who is serving a two-year sentence, has been convicted of multiple crimes, including robbery, assault with intent to commit robbery, break and enter, failure to comply with a probation order, uttering threats to kill animals, and failure to attend court.
The R.O.P.E. Squad expressed appreciation to the public and the media for their assistance during the investigation. The apprehension of Doskotch brings closure to the case, ensuring the safety of the community. Authorities have not released additional details at this time, but the arrest highlights the effectiveness of public and law enforcement collaboration in tracking down offenders.
