Brockville Police are investigating reports of gunshots fired on December 15th, around 8:00 p.m. Multiple 911 calls were made regarding the incident, which occurred near Church Street and Clarissa Street. Upon arrival, officers found evidence that several rounds had been fired at a multi-unit residence. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The police have determined that this was a targeted act of violence and are continuing their investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward by contacting Brockville Police at 613-342-0127, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
In addition, local residents and businesses in the vicinity of Church Street, George Street, Perth Street, Gilmour Street, and Maple Street are being asked to review their video surveillance footage from around the time of the incident and report any suspicious activity.
