The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley is saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Roger Quesnel, a cherished colleague and friend. Roger dedicated 27 years of service to the community, where he was a familiar and friendly face at the local waste site. Known for his enthusiasm, willingness to help others, infectious humor, and unwavering positivity, Roger’s spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Throughout his career, Roger’s commitment to serving the community remained steadfast, even during personal challenges. His warm presence and generosity will be deeply missed by colleagues, residents, and Council members.
The Township extends its heartfelt condolences to Roger’s family during this difficult time. In his honor, flags at Township facilities will be lowered to half-mast as a mark of respect. The Township’s loss is felt by all who had the privilege of working alongside Roger.
