Brockville Police concluded a criminal investigation on March 13th with a coordinated search warrant execution at a residence on Macodrum Drive. The operation involved the Brockville Police Service, Detective Branch, and Emergency Response Team.
During the search, officers arrested a 41-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, charging them with multiple offenses. Police seized nearly 500 grams of methamphetamine, two ounces of cocaine, three ounces of MDMA, 30 unknown pills suspected to be ecstasy, and a quantity of Canadian currency.
Following the residence search, a warrant was also executed on a vehicle owned by one of the accused, leading to the discovery of additional methamphetamine and a loaded restricted handgun.
Both suspects were held for bail hearings and face charges including careless storage of a firearm, possession of prohibited devices, trafficking drugs, and failing to comply with probation. Further details are pending.
