
Easter weekend is here and it’s time to go find those eggs the bunny has hidden! It also means some changes to the usual schedule in Gananoque and the Thousand Islands.
Schools will be closed Friday and Monday giving kids a chance to enjoy the holiday. However, local banks will also be closed, and all LCBO and Beer Store locations will be closed.
If you need groceries, Metro in Gananoque will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m today closed on Friday, re-open Saturday for the same hours, close Sunday and re-open for regular hours (9am-6pm) Monday April 21st. Gananoque’s No Frills is open today for regular hours (8am-9pm but closed Friday and Sunday.
Post offices across the region will be closed for the holiday, as will Gananoque’s Town Hall and the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands municipal offices, both of which will reopen on Tuesday.
Waste sites in TLTI will also be closed Friday, Sunday and Monday but will reopen Saturday and Tuesday. Curbside pickup in Gananoque resumes Monday April 21st. Township Collection resumes Tuesday April 22nd.
