Join the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands (TLTI) for Pitch-In Week, a community initiative to clean up local areas and promote environmental stewardship. Community groups, local residents, and businesses are coming together to make a difference from April 22 to May 3, 2025.
Residents can pitch in individually by picking up gloves and bags from several local businesses, including Hilltop Coffee STOP, Wing’s Live Bait & Tackle, the Township Office, and LTI Libraries in Lansdowne, Lyndhurst, and Seeley’s Bay.
For those who prefer group efforts, there are scheduled community events on April 26: SBARA will host a clean-up in Seeley’s Bay from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the Village of Lyndhurst will hold an event that weekend, with more details to follow on social media.
Pitch-In collection trailers will be available at various locations, including Lansdowne, Seeley’s Bay, and Lyndhurst.
