Starting the week of May 4, 2025, GIP Paving Inc. will begin Stage 2 of construction on Highway 401 at Mallorytown Road. This work will result in the closure of the Highway 401 westbound on-ramp at Mallorytown Road. The closure will be in effect from 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, until August 2025.
The closure is necessary to complete ongoing construction operations as part of the Ministry of Transportation’s project to improve the area. Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes and adjust their travel and commuting schedules accordingly during this period.
