A Hero’s Milestone: Chief Halladay honoured for 50 years

Front of Yonge Township celebrates an incredible milestone

Saturday, the community of Mallorytown is honouring Front of Yonge Fire Department Chief, Greg Halladay for 50 years of service. Here’s Halladay reflecting on half a century with the department.

Halladay says he’s grateful for the support, particularly from his wife, Linda. The one who organized this event with the township again, after a March ice-storm forced it to be cancelled.

Tomorrow’s celebration will take place at the Mallorytown Community Centre from 2-4 p.m.
