Today we are profiling the Thousand Islands Watershed Land Trust, a nature conservancy, located in Athens.
The 111 acre property features a recently renovated barn with plenty of history behind it.
Marnie Ross, one of the Directors at the property says one along with the vast amount of property for people to come and visit, they also take great pride in the Glen Elbe Learning Centre located on site.
Several students each year learn this history of the region, the property and gain more knowledge of nature in general.
Marnie stopped by the myFM studio and told us all about what happens with Thousand Islands Watershed Land Trust and the Glen Elbe Learning Centre.
