Tree maintenance operations will be taking place throughout the Town of Gananoque from June 2 to June 30.
This work is part of the municipality’s regular efforts to maintain the overall health of the urban tree canopy and to ensure the safety of public spaces.
As part of the scheduled maintenance, some trees will be removed due to issues such as poor health, structural instability, or advanced decline.
The Town emphasizes that these decisions are made following thorough assessments, and trees are only removed when they pose a potential hazard or cannot be saved through other means.
In areas where trees are removed, replanting will be considered as part of future planning.
Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact the Public Works Department at 613-382-2149 ext. 1613 or via email at pwinfo@gananoque.ca.
