Nominations are now open for two important awards recognizing immigrant success and inclusive workplaces across Leeds and Grenville.
The 11th annual Leeds and Grenville Immigrant Entrepreneur Award celebrates local business owners born outside Canada. Past winners have included restaurant owners, farmers, dentists, IT professionals, and more.
The 2nd annual Inclusive Employer Award also returns, honouring businesses that go the extra mile to create welcoming spaces for immigrant employees. Both awards are open to nominations from the public until September 12, 2025.
Nominees must live and operate in Leeds and Grenville. Anyone can nominate by contacting the St. Lawrence–Rideau Immigration Partnership via Facebook, email, phone or text. Self-nominations are welcome.
Winners will be announced at the Bridges to Better Business Conference during Small Business Week in October. The awards are supported by multiple local organizations focused on employment, education, and newcomer services.
