The Gananoque Police Service, in coordination with the Ontario Provincial Police Biker Enforcement Unit, is preparing for a possible influx of outlaw motorcycle gang members and their associates in Gananoque on Friday, June 13, 2025.
These groups, known for a wide range of criminal activities, are considered a potential risk to public safety. However, local authorities note that similar visits in past years have resulted in minimal disruption.
“The Gananoque Police Service, along with outside law enforcement agencies, have taken appropriate precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and visitors,” the service said in a statement.
Citizens are encouraged to go about their daily routines but remain vigilant. Police are asking anyone who witnesses suspicious activity or requires assistance to contact them directly.
Officials emphasize that community safety remains a top priority and proactive steps are being taken to manage the situation effectively.
