Big Bucks and Big Impact: River 50/50 Floats All Boats

Local programs are getting a big boost, and one lucky winner will be getting a big pay day, thanks to the River 50-50 draw in support of the United Way.

Homelife DLK Real Estate is also presenting the draw. Their Angie Steele says if someone were to win the draw today, they’d win a substantial amount of money.

And that total is only expected to rise.

Every ticket sold goes to the United Way and the programs it supports that make a real impact in Leeds & Grenville.

The United Way’s Hailey Jack says tickets are easy to come by too.

The 1000 Island’s Regatta’s Steve Armstrong says the draw is a great addition to their festivities.

Tickets will be sold until 8:30 Saturday, then the grand prize awarded just before Shania Twain hits the stage.
