
Residents of Leeds and Grenville, including Gananoque and Prescott, can safely dispose of household hazardous waste at no cost during upcoming Household Hazardous Waste Days.
Three collection dates are scheduled across five locations:
Saturday, July 5 – Lombardy Fair Grounds
Saturday, August 16 – South Leeds County Patrol Garage (north of Lansdowne) and Delta Fair Grounds
Saturday, October 11 – Spencerville Fair Grounds and North Grenville County Patrol Garage (south of Kemptville)
All events run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Accepted items include batteries, propane tanks, antifreeze, oil filters, paints, pharmaceuticals, and household cleaners. Commercial or industrial waste, electronics, tires, and items with mercury or PCBs will not be accepted.
Waste will only be accepted from residents of Leeds and Grenville, Gananoque, and Prescott—not from other municipalities, including Brockville.
