Ford Keeps His Foot on the Gas During Summer Recess

Conservative Government House Leader Steve Clark says Premier Doug Ford has been working hard for the province even though Queen’s Park is not sitting.

Clark also says he’s getting set for a very important meeting.

The Council of the Federation takes place from July 21st through the 23rd in Hunstville.

The meeting provides an opportunity for the premiers to work together on several nation-building projects, like free trade with our own borders during the US trade war.

Clark also says the Prime Minister and Premiers will also be meeting with several groups over the three days, and in communities across Ontario.

The Council of the Federation was founded in 2003 and meets twice a year to tackle national issues and build stronger relationships between the provinces and territories.
