Visitors heading to the Lansdowne Fair from July 17 to 20 should be aware of temporary changes to local parking rules. The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands has suspended its parking by-law during the fair to allow parking on both sides of local roads, making more space for attendees.
However, some restrictions remain in place. There will be no parking on King Street west of Prince Street and no parking on Prince Street extending to County Road 3 (Outlet Road).
Drivers are reminded to check the posted map, park responsibly, avoid blocking driveways, and leave adequate space at intersections. These changes aim to improve traffic flow and safety during this popular community event.
