Three local youth programs in Leeds and Grenville are getting a major boost thanks to support from the Youth to Youth (Y2Y) Board of United Way Leeds & Grenville.
The board awarded grants to three projects aimed at helping young people thrive: the Nerd Nutrition program at Prescott Public Library, the Connections Program by RNJ Youth Services, and the Social Skills Summer Group run by Developmental Services of Leeds and Grenville.
These programs focus on supporting youth through activities that promote physical health, emotional wellness, and social development in safe and inclusive spaces.
The Y2Y Board, made up of young leaders, says it is proud to help build stronger, youth-friendly communities.
“We are excited to support programs that make a real difference for youth in our region,” the board said in a statement.
