A temporary lane closure is in effect on Escott Rockport Road at the Highway 401 overpass in the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands. The reduction to single-lane traffic is required to accommodate ongoing bridge work on the 401 and is expected to continue through November 28, 2025.
Motorists using the route should anticipate delays and are urged to drive with caution through the construction zone. The Township advises residents and commuters to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time when using this section of road.
