The Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands is appealing to the public for assistance following a recent act of vandalism at the Jerry Park Pavilion. The damage has prompted concern, and the Township is working closely with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) to investigate the incident and prevent further occurrences.
Residents are encouraged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity in or around the park to the Township office or directly to the OPP.
The Township stresses that community cooperation is essential in protecting and maintaining public spaces. Acts of vandalism not only damage property but also impact the enjoyment of shared facilities.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward to help keep the community safe.
