The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) is seeking applications to fill a Trustee vacancy following the recent resignation of Carole Dufort. Interested and eligible individuals have until 4:00 p.m. on August 11, 2025, to apply.
Applicants must submit a résumé detailing accomplishments and community involvement, a letter of intent outlining why they wish to serve and how they can contribute to the board, and three community references. Applications should be sent to Ron Ferguson, Director of Education and Secretary to the Board, at ron.ferguson@ucdsb.on.ca. Submissions may be made available for public review upon request.
A shortlist of candidates will be selected and interviewed during a public Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be sworn in that evening and will serve as Trustee until the current term ends on November 14, 2026.
