The federal government launched the Canada Strong Pass earlier this summer to help more young people travel across Canada.
The pass offers free admission for youth under 18 and discounted entry for those aged 18–24. It also includes savings on Via Rail, national parks, and museums.
On July 17, the federal government announced which attractions are included in the program. The St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC) was listed as a provincial partner. However, SLPC later confirmed they are not currently participating, despite a link to their camping website.
Attractions in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario include the Canada Museum of History, Canada Aviation and Space Museum, National Gallery of Canada, and Fulford Place in Brockville.
Parks Canada sites such as Thousand Islands National Park and Fort Wellington in Prescott are also included.
No paperwork is needed—just proof of age. The pass ends on September 2.
