Half Moon Bay’s historic outdoor worship tradition continues this weekend with an interdenominational service led by Reverend Stephen Ambury of Cook’s Portsmouth United Church in Kingston. The gathering will take place Sunday at 4:00 p.m. on Bostwick Island near Gananoque, with music provided by Robyn Abelson. Free boat transportation to the service is available from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the dock located at the west end of Water Street in Gananoque.
Established in 1887, the Half Moon Bay services offer a unique worship experience surrounded by the natural beauty of the Thousand Islands. The tradition draws locals and visitors alike each summer.
