The Town of Gananoque is hosting two nights of live music at Joel Stone Park this weekend, starting at 7:30 p.m. on both nights.
On Friday, August 15, the LaSalle Causeway Band will perform big band and swing music, entertaining the crowd with classic tunes from their 16-member ensemble.
On Saturday, August 16, local rock cover band The Stares will take the stage, performing energetic renditions of hits from artists including Led Zeppelin, Heart, The Black Keys, and Dolly Parton.
The Gananoque and Area Food Bank will be onsite collecting food donations and selling water, while the Gananoque Skating Club will hold a 50/50 raffle to raise funds. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, dancing shoes, and summer vibes to enjoy these free, family-friendly performances at 125 Water Street, Gananoque.
